Concert with the Music Conservatoire and a crash course in Sami

Welcome to Skansen on Culture Night!

We at the Nordlys Festival and Gáisi are looking forward to showing you what we’re up to. This evening, you can enjoy a taster of the 2027 anniversary programme, a crash course in Sami with Gáisi – the Sami Language Centre – and a look back at 40 years of the festival!

Music Conservatoire For many years, the Nordlys Festival’s lunchtime concerts were held at Skansen, hosted by our wonderful volunteers. The concerts have gradually become so popular that we’ve had to move them to Rødbanken – tonight we’re inviting the Music Conservatoire back to fill Skansen with beautiful music in celebration of our 40th anniversary!

7.45 pm (approx.) Crash course in Sámi
