Art walk in Tromsø city centre

During the autumn of 2025 and the spring/summer of 2026, many artworks were finally completed and installed in Tromsø city center. Many of these pieces involved lengthy processes before finding their place in our city’s streets and parks.

We invite you to an art walk where we share the background, the creative process, and stories about the artists behind the works.

We begin in Steenparken, home to the Mandela Monument; walk down to Torghuken to view and hear about the artworks there; and conclude in Kirkeparken, where the new July 22nd memorial is located.
